The close-knit Kardashians usually travel en masse and spend holidays together as a family.

But with her wedding to basketballer Kris Humphries fast approaching, Kim Kardashian is learning to split the holidays between her famous clan and future in-laws.

The 30-year-old is spending the Fourth of July holiday weekend with Kris' family in Minnesota.


Humpries tweeted pictures of his fiancée enjoying water sports on Lake Minnetonka today.

He posted a snap of Kim jet skiing, writing, 'Look at Kim Kardashian tearing up the lake!'

Next was a picture of Kim manning the wheel of a speed boat surrounded by friends from his hometown.

Kim flew out to spend the weekend with the Humphries on Friday.

It seems she may not have been too keen early on, as Kris asked his followers that day on Twitter: 'How do I convince @KimKardashian that minnesota is better than L.A.?'

But judging by her antics on the water, Kim may have been converted.

She may have to be flexible with her living arrangements if Kris signs with the New Jersey Nets, next season, after playing as free agent.

The Californian native discussed the subject with TV host Jay Leno last month, and revealed that would indeed make the move to the East coast for her fiancé.

'Obviously, he'll be my husband so if he signs, yes,' she told Leno.

Following their engagement in May the couple are wasting no time in walking down the aisle, with Kim revealing they will wed by 'the end of the summer, we're just going to go for it.'

She has a body so distracting that it's almost dangerous, but Kim Kardashian stopped traffic in Manhattan today for an entirely different reason.

Admittedly, she was already walking across a pedestrian crossing, but if motorists were in any doubt about the markings, Kim's neon smock dress and purple wedges would've stopped them in their tracks.

And not in a good way, either, because the 30-year-old has misfired with the colour blocking trend, as many a celebrity seems prone to do.


Kim has made the crime of hiding her sensation curves under the unflattering dress, which though bang on the current trend for all things 70s, does nothing for her.

She looks best in the Mad Men style wardrobe of the 50s, cinched in waists, low necklines and structured bodices sizzle on the reality star.

Teaming the fluorescent tunic with frumpy purple wedges did little to improve the overall effect though they did offer the eldest Kardashian a bit of height parity with fiance Kris Humphries.

Dressed in a low-key combination of black shorts, vest and sandals, Kourtney, 32 , was photographed in front of a hoarding promoting the latest series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Hilariously, her own face could be seen replicated directly behind her, though she was more concerned with clasping her 18-month-old son Mason, by boyfriend Scott Disick, to her hip, for her to notice.

Kim is of course gearing up for her big wedding, and sister Khloe believes she will turn into a 'huge bridezilla.'

The 26-year-old reality star thinks her older sister, 30, will be a nightmare.

Speaking to Life & Style, she said: 'Kim's going to be a huge bridezilla. She'll get specific with things like fabric, saying, "I can't have cotton, I want French cotton!"

'That's how crazy she is. But she's never mean about it.

'Kim knows what she wants and is going to have whatever she wants. I love that about her - I love the diva-ness.'

But that didn't stop Kim Kardashian from adding another role to her resume as she filmed a guest spot on Lifetime's Project Runway yesterday.

The fashion and TV mogul joined Heidi Klum and fellow judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors to shoot the upcoming episode in Battery Park, New York yesterday.

Kim, 30, chose a simple yet chic little black dress for the occasion which she paired with towering platform Christian Louboutin pumps.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian's star completed her look with a sleek ponytail and hoop earrings, not to mention her enormous engagement ring.

Klum, 38, also chose an all black ensemble which included an asymmetric belted black mini-dress and black stiletto booties but Heidi was a little less daring than Kim and opted to wear tights to keep her legs covered.

She also wore her hair pulled back in a slick up-do but added a splash of colour with a cerise pink lipstick.

The designers had an unusual challenge this week as they had to present their clothes with their models on huge stilts.

The ensembles were all very colourful and imaginative but it is not known yet who got the chop and who got to stay to compete for the $100,000 prize.

'I'm on a diet. I need to be. I love to eat - Kit Kats or cookies-and-cream ice cream. I need sugar like five times a day,' she revealed.

The new season of Project Runway is set to première on July 28th.

Bush's new girlfriend, Melissa Molinaro, is a lookalike for socialite Kardashian, from her chiselled features and long dark hair right down to her curvaceous figure.


Bush, 26, who split up from Kardashian in March 2010 following a high profile on-again, off-again relationship, was spotted out with Molinaro at trendy Beverly Hills steakhouse, Boa, a couple of weeks ago but friends say they've been a couple since Christmas.

U.S. website TMZ reports that the New Orleans Saints star flew to England earlier this month to show his devotion to his new girl when she performed in a London nightclub.

Bush and Molinaro met two years ago but were always seeing other people so stayed platonic friends until they reconnected last summer.

'They're saying, "Oh my god, [people are] saying you look like Kim Kardashian!"' she told U.S. website E! Online.

Bush and Kardashian's tumultuous relationship spanned from 2007 to 2010.

Since then Kim moved on to another NFL player, Miles Austin, before getting engaged to basketball star Humphries in May, who she is set to wed later this summer.

On the other hand, Bush doesn't seem to have veered far from his ex. His previous girlfriend before Molinaro, Latin singer Mayra Veronica, bore a striking resemblance to Kim too.

Kardashian, who announced her engagement to NBA star Kris Humphries last month, broadcast her wedding weight loss plan to her fans on Twitter.

When a follower wrote that they were 'on [their] way to GNC to by some QuickTrim,' the 30-year-old responded: 'Take some for me! I'm about to start again! Wedding slimdown.'

Along with using the weight loss product that both Kim and sister Khloe endorse, which claims to jump start your metabolism and burn more calories, the bride-to-be has been dedicated to her workout regimen.

The model, reality TV star and businesswoman introduced her grandmother to the cameras as the girls enjoyed a spot of shopping in Beverly Hills yesterday.

Kim and her maternal grandmother Mary, who she refers to as MJ, were seen leaving William Sonoma after adding some more items to her growing wedding list.


It had been suggested that the second oldest Kardashian daughter would pay tribute to her late father Robert by getting married to her fiance Kris Humphries on father's day yesterday but in actual fact Kim spent the day shopping.

Kim's grandmother MJ looked younger than her years and sported the female member's of the family's signature dark hair.

On last night's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired in the U.S.

Kendall - who has been doing print modelling work in Los Angeles - books a job in New York.

Since she is just a teenager, the family decides that the budding 5'10" model needs a chaperone, but mother Kris Jenner is too busy with prior commitments to travel to the East Coast.

Forget about it: As they drive through New York, Kendall looks out the window and pleads to visit some of the city's landmarks, but Kim insists that she focus on work instead of play


But Kendall, who has never been on the catwalk says she doesn't think she will be available to do it because she has cheer leading practice back home the day of the show.

Then she admits to being scared saying: 'Runway modelling scares me.'
Despite Kendall's concerns, Kim immediately tells the talent scout that Kendall will take part in the runway show.

Back off: Kim's stepfather Bruce Jenner told her that she pushed Kendall too hard and was 'acting like a stage mom'


'I'm getting bored and I just wanna be done,' Kendall says, with a look of disgust.

But Kim, who insists that her sister take the opportunity seriously yells: 'You are embarrassing me.'

The modelling coach quickly realizes that they are all wasting their time and she tells Kim: 'When she wants to take this seriously, call me.'

All is forgiven: Kim realizes she has gone too far and apologizes to her little sister for being so pushy


By the end of the scene, Kendall loses her temper and says that Kim is only forcing her to try runway modelling to live out her own fantasies.

She reveals that her older sister once dreamed of a modelling career, but was too short to make it in the industry. The teenager then yells: 'I've told you 500 times, I don't wanna do this.'

The two then return to California where Kim is confronted by her stepfather, Bruce Jenner who reveals that Kendall called him earlier in tears.

'You gotta back off,' Bruce tells Kim adding, 'You're like a stage mom.'

Kim is taken by surprise and responds: 'It's my job as a big sister to introduce her to new things.'

A few minutes later she realizes she may have come on too strong and apologizes to her little sister:
'I love you and I'm really proud of you,' she tells Kendall.

Kim had a broad smile on her face as she carried her new pup from a pet store in Los Angeles.

Her fiancé Kris has clearly not put Kim in the dog house over the recent rumours and instead held the puppy carrier as they made their way back to their car.

The pair bought the dog from Petco in Sherman Oaks and seemed focused on making a new home for their dog rather than the claims from NFL player Bret Lockett that he had carried on a five month 'affair' with the reality star.

Later the loved up pair went for a night out at the Roxbury nightclub in LA where the couple left hand in hand.
