Lauren Goodger today met up with PR guru Max Clifford as she plotted plans for her future.

The Only Way Is Essex star, who is also hoping for success in the beauty industry with her new fake tan range, met up with Clifford for drinks at the
Ristorante Semplice in London's Mayfair.

Lauren also took to Twitter yesterday to confirm she has now represented Clifford's company as her PR representative in place of her former Neon Management, who still represent her fiancé Mark Wright.

What's next? Lauren made sure to flash her engagement ring as she got drinks with Max at the Ristorante Semplice


She wrote on her Twitter page: 'Hey another busy day for LG I'm just shopping for my holiday up town!

'Just to let 2 know for work etc.I am now with Max Clifford.'

Lauren looked smart in a black trouser suit and white vest top as she met up with Clifford at the London restaurant.

She also came armed with shopping bags, having enjoyed a retail therapy trip earlier in the day.

Later on, Lauren tweeted: 'Really feel lik goin out 2nit!I'v just had a break from shopping now a glass of wine more shopping then where shall I go for a few drinks :)'

Her split from Neon Management, the company that formerly represented her and Mark Wright as a couple, will no doubt fuel rumours that their relationship is in trouble.

Earlier this week, Mark and Lauren put on a united front in Chigwell, Essex, after they were faced with rumours of Mark's infidelity.

Reports claimed that Lauren had moved out of the flat she shares with the TOWIE lothario after finding out he 'made a move' on Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter.

The News of the World claimed renowned ladies' man Mark had tried his luck with pretty young blonde Jorgie during a night out in Liverpool on Thursday.

But Mark took to his Twitter page to write: 'Readin the paper, wonderin why every time @MarkWright sits with a woman he’s a ‘cheat’... people should leave him and @LaurenGoodger alone!'

The claims are the latest in a string of reports about Mark's alleged cheating.

MailOnline told earlier this month how Lauren was furious after hearing Mark's ex Lucy Mecklenburgh's claims that she had kissed the reality star while they were on holiday in Marbella.

Lauren confirmed on her Twitter page she's off to Sin City in the early hours of this morning, writing: 'Now in a cab with loads shopping bags on way home finally can't wait for Vegas baby!!! Partying and doing it alll xxx'

Showdown: Lauren Goodger and fiancé Mark Wright will come face to face tonight following allegations he cheated on her


Reports have been rife today that Lauren Goodger has walked out on fiancé Mark Wright following the allegations that he cheated on her.

However Mail Online have learned that The Only Way Is Essex stars are in fact preparing for a showdown at their Essex flat this evening.

A spokesperson for the couple confirmed that Mark and Lauren have not actually seen each other since Lucy Mecklenburgh's claims were published on Tuesday.


Lucy claimed in New! magazine that she and ex-boyfriend Mark shared a 'drunken kiss' while they were in Marbella earlier this month.

'We kissed twice. The first time was in Pangea, and then we kissed when we were on our way back to the apartment complex, where we were all staying.

'We’d both been drinking so I can’t really remember [how many times we kissed]. I’d had a lot of vodka.'

When asked about rumours she and Wright, 24, had slept together in Marbella, she replied: 'There was a drunken kiss. But out of respect for Lauren, that’s all I’ll say.'

Other publications have reported today that Lauren packed her bags and walked out on her long-time love after a blazing row at their home after Lauren read Lucy's kiss and tell interview.

But the pair will only come face to face tonight after being separated due to work commitments.

Mark had a PA in Aberdeen earlier this week and flew direct to Liverpool to meet other members of the cast there.

Lauren stayed behind and is preparing for a photocall to promote her tanning line Lauren's Way at Lakeside shopping centre this afternoon.

'Lauren has chosen not comment on the allegations until she sees him,' a friend told Mail Online.

'They need to meet and sort through their issues together. The rumours have cause problems, but no decision have been made yet.'

While she has yet to speak out, Miss Goodger has hinted at her feelings on Twitter.

She has 'retweeted' comments by other users on the social networking site , including one fan who wrote to her: 'They never knw what they've got till its gone...Chin up ur Fab MissGoodger!' (sic).

She also repeated quote which read: 'If you want me in your life, put me there. I shouldn't have to fight for a spot.'

Earlier this week Wright appeared to shoot down Miss Mecklenburgh's claims. He tweeted: 'Me and @LaurenGoodger r happy together she knows the truth anyway hope everyone has a good day.'

He added: 'Not allowed to say to much right now but very shortly your find out the truth.'

Lucy and Mark dated briefly during the first season of The Only Way Is Essex, while he and Lauren were apart.

Lauren was vocal in her jealousy of the relationship and constantly taunted Lucy, telling her that she and Mark had continued to sleep together during the romance.

According to Lucy, Wright seems to have difficulty forgetting his exes. She told new! that the playboy has been sending her text messages, despite being engaged to Lauren.

She said: 'He was very complimentary. He always said I looked nice and he texted me saying how hot I looked and that he was falling for me again.'
